“Throw the Burning Bush on the Brush Pile; Overused Plants and Superior Alternatives”
Adam Wheeler, Broken Arrow Nursery

Many familiar landscape staples have become so ubiquitous that they're losing their impact and in some cases, creating ecological challenges. In this lecture, Adam Wheeler of Broken Arrow Nursery will explore some of the most overused woody plants, discussing why they became popular and why it might be time to retire them. Most importantly, he will highlight superior alternatives that deliver outstanding performance and beauty without negative environmental effects. Attendees will leave with practical ideas to refresh their planting palettes and design landscapes that truly stand out for all the right reasons.
